Yes babies sleep as per their comfort level and some babies sleep sideways..just the shape of head is a concern as it may get pressed from one side..use mustard pillow and once baby is asleep sometimes slowly make the baby lie straight.. during massaging head also you can slowly apply pressure and press in circular shape
