Hi my baby is 5days old and I am unable to breast feed at all due to shorter nipples. Baby is adjusted to formula feed. I am trying it but baby refuses it and sucks for few seconds only and cries..i express milk n feed her shez takn feed with spoon. Soo disappointed with this not able to be happy at all. Please help

Have a Lactation counselor help you get the latch corrected. You may be advised the use of nipple shield to help the baby latch.

it is ok priyanka dont be disappointed. as u said baby is taking feed with spoon. u can also try by pinching the nipple nd feeding her. also if she is taking feed with spoon pls try to express ur breast milk nd feed her with spoon instead of formula. and be calm nd try u can use nipple sheild as well.
