All the moms have given very correct answers. You will need to follow the medication schedule and ensure that baby is well hydrated. As baby is older you may also be able to wash the babies bottom directly with tap water. This leads to less rubbing and hence less abrasion. Keep offering the baby breast milk and other liquids. Don't worry of she does not eat a whole lot as when unwell the appetite is really low.

i prefer to use cotton dipped in warm water to clean the diaper area. then dry the area well. keep applying diaper rash cream or coconut oil.<br>
she may not want to eat. u can only keep offering bm. if she becomes too sleepy or activity level drops pls take her to ur doc right away. keep check on pee count if possible, though difficult with motions.
