hi my baby was born premature on seven month...noe his age is 5 month..but corrected age is 3 months.. I am generally worried about him reaching his development milestones.. is there any one who has success story of premature birth...and baby has grown up well.. please advise the things to be taken care while checking his growth..
The critical period for a baby born premature is the first one month. This is when the lungs are still immature the digestive system needs to settle etc. Once this period is past then most babies catch up fairly rapidly. By the time your baby is about a year old you will not need to use the corrected age calculation at all. Just relax and enjoy your little one.
