My daughter is two and half year old.She will self feed only very few varieties of food.Rest of the time distraction feeding is required.I an worried as my mother in law at times shows her Tv at lunch time or breakfast.I am working so I find it very difficult to handle my daughter as I don't show her TV during dinner.
I have tried to expain several times to my Mil,but for her quantity she takes is more important rather than impact of Tv while eating.i really don't know what to do.Whenever I have explained she picks up.an argument with me and my husband also feels that it's our daughter problem and since his mother is taking care she will do it in her way and I shouldn't interfere.I can't leave my job even.Feeling helpless

She tells stories but when my baby does not eat she opts for TV as she doesn't want to reduce the portion size.i have explained her politely that if she doesn't finish her meal, she will eat after sometime when she is hungry. We should give the child some space rather then sitting with the meal for two hours. The child becomes more reluctant but my mil gets offended and never try to go as per way I discuss

You simply day that dada dadi.. nana nani ki kahani is more important and interesting than the tv.. talk to her in a very polite manner or rather appreciate her for her story telling abilities and say one of your friends mil tells stories and then baby is fan of dadi.. <br>
