Hi.. my EDD is on 1st December, 2018! The Doctor I am consulting will be going on a vacation from 3rd decemeber 2018! I want to try for normal delivery first. In case I don’t go into labour, the option of inducing labour before 3rd is there and if for some reason that cant be done, MY Doctor says his team will be there to take care of me !
As I am from kolkata, and not many doctor’s go for normal delivery here, I don’t know whether I should change my doctor or pray that I go on labour before the EDD or on the day of EDD!
My question - 1- what are the chances of having labour pain on the same day or before the EDD (if my periods followed the normal cycle)
2- should I consult any other Doctor in kolkata, and not take the risk ?

You can pray yes but can't ever estimate when you'd go into labour. And if you'd go into labour.; It all boils down to the last minute.; Consult another doctor since your doctor surely won't be there and sometimes even the EDD crosses over for some of us. You are in the earliest stages so change the doc right <u>now</u>

Normal or c- section and labour all depend on last days of your pregnancy and you can’t do anything right now... all you need to take care is eat healthy food and stay active...
