Chaithra,can u plz visit a paed and get him checked. Child is now 6 mnths and passing gas shouldnt be new to him. Must be 6 mnths now learning to pass gas and poop. He must be constipated and anus might be hurting and since this is too much discomfort,he is crying.Better get help in form of digestive enzyme rather than letting him suffer.

Babies cry while passing gas because they feel weird. Give him some tummy time, burp after every meal and feed.
