As one of the moms has mentioned it is difficult for them to sit in one place. There are many rockers available in the market and you can pick any of your choice but do be prepared that your child may want to be lifted out within a few minutes if bored. Hence the suggestion of a play pen as he can move around and be a little more free.

Thank you Somali and chitra for ur immediate response.......wen I am n kitchen he climbs d steps or bed with n minute he will run so I can't manage him to sit n one place so can u suggest a rocking chair s best. for kids or not.....thank u once again

You may want to get a play pen instead which is an enclosed play area. They can be folded and put away when not in use yet are firm enough for keeping the baby in a smaller area. Baby will be able to have his toys and will be able to move around a little as well.

It is nearly impossible to keep a 15 month old tied to one place! and I wouldn't suggest you to do that. try to occupy him in your work, for example if you are in kitchen making rotis, he can also make some with toys. or if you are cleaning the house then gives him a small cloth to mimic you. you mentioned you have a joint family - why don't you get others in the house to watch him while he plays with toys or does some Coloring with crayons?
