Yes, please talk to your Dr.. since till date you never gave him formula so it's better to discuss with Dr..

Milk will not decrease after 6 months because by 6 months your milk supply is established according to your baby's needs. So it's all in your mind. Moreover formula and bottle should be weaned off by 1 year, after 1 year baby should eat 3 meals plus 2 snacks and if you want to give any animal milk the you can give after 1 year. So please continue feeding bm and solids.
