I use Graco crib. Since i still breastfeed my lil one what i do in the night is, take out the side railing and lock the weels and attach it to the bed. It comes to the exact same height and just feels like an extension of the bed. Its super safe so i sleep peacefully, without worrying about the baby rolling off. In the day time i attach the railing when my baby sleeps.

As advised by Babychakra expert Sonali Shivlani ( Prenatal) -A crib is a safe place for the baby to sleep. It also helps establish a healthy sleep habit. Babies identify with the crib as their place to sleep and even if not monitored they will not fall off and hurt themselves. Most of the brands are fine. The bigger focus is the mattress which should be firm.
