Hi.... We are swaddling the baby with cotton garment. My question is should we do it 24x7? We are not using AC.... Only Fan we are using.... Weather is humid n hot temp almost 30+. Please suggest.... Sometimes he gets irritated. He is 16 days old. We are bathing him daily and sponging at night before sleep. please suggest how to make him comfortable???
Eliza, I am using sleeve less tees with front open buttons.. the ones in organic or pure cotton. Bottoms am using cotton nappies for now.. the ones that are tee shirt kinda materials. if baby has ac on, I swaddle in cotton and another thin blanket for babies. If the temperature gets hotter and he's very hot, I remove the blanket or / and swaddle and let him be.

Hi congratulations ! Welcome to motherhood my friend .. swaddling is best during the sleep time ... U can try to swaddle less and see if it works for u ... And sometimes as a new mother u feel u r not doing enough for ur child but u r doing a good job and u need to keep telling urself that . Enjoy ur baby 😊

Don't swaddle always.; Use layers cleverly. Use fan and ac can be used at 28-29 degrees with swing off and lowest ac fan speed.; Am doing that.; Swtvh off after a while.; Also, make sure when ac is on, cover baby's ears with a cotton scarf.
