This is a rare disease that cannot be completely attributed to genetic causes for being passed on from heridietary but this because of a gene mutation which causes severe nodules on skin and increase on itching advise you to see your good senior dermatologist for the treatment because it treatment is long term it does include light therapy with UV radiations as well as it includes steroidal maintenance therapy
