hiee evryone.. what is the difference between double marker test and triple marker test? is double marker test realy necessary.. or triple marker is sufficient?

The double marker is done around 11 weeks and measures two markers HCG and afp. the triple is done around 15 weeks and will measure three markers HCG afp and uE3. The advantage of double marker is that you know your risk levels early and can take a decision to decide if you need more tests. You will need to make this decision with your doctor based on your risk category - previous history, genetic history and age.
