Hi..i got delivered on 17th through cesarean..my edd was 17th only bt i didnt get any pains and no water break everything was fine i went for regular checkup my doctr did scaning and said that afi level is 5.4 so we cant wait anymore so she did cesarean and even she didnt induce artificial pains..now my question is if we have waited for couple of days what would had happnd?? Is there was any chances of induced labour??

Hey new mommy congratulations...I m also a c sec mom...Low AFI levels is a major concern. Same case with me! U will be absolutely fine in few days. Now as u have ur Li'l bundle of joy in ur arms...cherish these moments...let be gone by gone.<br>

Ashu,,, firstly many congratulations!!!<br>
And your doctor has done the right one,,, even i would have suggested for c- sec because of very low afi level,, if induced was done there occurs the big risk where more chances of fetus distress was there which leads to meckonium staining leading to the IUD.. instead of taking this big risk,,, c- section was the good option.. trust your doctor. He is doing best with you :)
