Hii.. M Shivangi, from today my 8th month of pregnancy is start and I gain 16 kgs weight since pregnancy. So please tell me that Am I overweight and how much weight is appropriate for 8 month and 9 month & how can I reduce weight now if I am overweight?

Shivangi The normal weight gain in entire pregnancy is 7 to 15 kgs, you are just 29 weeks and you have another 10 weeks to go so please concentrate on your food. You can't loose weight now nor can you diet as it will harm the baby, try to maintain this weight. Make changes in your food intake avoid oil and fried foods, eat normal homemade food and avoid sweets completely. Excessive weight gain will result in high BP and gestational diabetes. If you are drinking any juices then stop that and have whole fruits instead.

Infact I was worried taht everytime I visit my doctor I asked her if I'm gaining more. And she said. Don't worry everything is going fine. Weight gain is ok.

No dear its not overweight. Every body is different and every mother gain weight differently. <br> 10-20 kg weight gain is normal.
