Are the growths that you are seeing blackish ? are they on the scalp or on the forehead ? Scalp growth is blackish and forehead could be reddish. Babies pick up many such infections while passing thru the vagina. It is fairly normal. However please do have your pediatrician check. In the meanwhile wash the area a few times with warm water.
