hi swati ,as baby is too small there system is still under development and at this stage they get improvement on illness gradually, try to maintain all hygiene at babys place. see he doesn't drink any bath water while bathing or doesn't take any thing in mouth. keep giving little free time from diaper to avoid rash, clean the area gently from wipes , and apply diaper rash cream regularly . the antibiotics given to infants are not that strong as babys sensitive so they show slow improvement. but if you feel to take second opinion from another doctor do take. your food doesn't effect baby only u should avoid taking caffeine , gassy foods ,spicy ones. there are no home remedies for small infants .

Oh dear.. sorry to hear this.. I had gone through this phase.. don't worry you lil one will recover soon .. It may be caused due to
more body heat. . keep your body cool.. take regular head baths.. for baby too..1.Did you had any food from outside?
2. prawn, mango ?
3.bf him more frequently
4. it will be painful for babies as they are pooping often during diarrhea.
as your baby is too little its not good to try home remedies..
