Faced same problem in first month. My baby used to doze off. So after every feed, I used to supplement with formula by using bowl n spoon. The whole family was basically feeding the bub. After a month once she gained some strength n some weight she was on exclusive breastfeed.;

I suggest u try to fed baby regularly even.if it is formula to increase his weight. As baby weight increases they can stay awake longer to take better feds . As it takes energy to stay awake n they sleep to.conserve energy . Fed every 2 and half hour round the clock even.at night . Inorder to.wake.up remove babies daiper this seems to wake them up for feeding .

I feed him through bowl and spoon. I feed him because he sleeps immediately while I breastfeed so I don't understand if his tummy is <u>filled</u>

Hey sai young babies are like that.&#160; Their sleep pattern is very unpredictable.
