Hi..my baby is 5 and half months old.. Along with breastfeed i started to give him some rice water in the morning and carrot/apple puree by evening 5..he didn't pass motion for past four days and today morning he strained a lot and passed.. he also cried..after passing motion some streak of blood came ..kindly help me ..what shud be done..suggest some remedy
I had a similar experience when i gave my baby beetroot:) Give baby plenty of water.

The streak of blood could have actually been some carrot which was not digested. If the stools were hard then it is possible that baby is getting a little constipated. Avoid apple for a few days and instead try pear. Also give the baby some boiled and cooled water to help with the digestion.
