hi,my sister in law is in 39th week of pregnancy last week in her report it showed that baby has cord in the neck doctor told she will wait till 13th of this month n since last night her stomach is getting tight is there any risk or any pblm??

cord around neck is usually not an indication for a cesarean. i wud be more concerned with the tightening feeling. can u talk to her abt any rhythmic pain esp in the back. in any doubt get a checkup as shes due.

No problems.. even my baby was born with chord. If doctor asks to do c section, go for it. Rather than risking ...wish you Happy healthy baby.
