This will be baby kavya's first Holi 🎨and I really want to celebrate it the actual way and not by just putting up a tikka or locking ourselves in the room ( which I was actually doing for past 10-12 years )
.
But this Holi is special so I decided to make my own Holi colours. This will give me confidence of what's going on kavya skin ( bcz Mom knows what is best for her baby)
.
Indegients needed 👩🔧
- Rice flour
- Rose water ( for fragnance )
- Food colours
.
Quick steps
.
1. Add few drops of food colour in rice flour ( there is no fixed quantity, you can adjust and mix it according to the colour you want)
.
2. Keep adding drops of rose water💦 while mixing the flour
.
3. Make a hard dough ( best way to make a hard dough is to add rose slowly and not all at once )
.
4. Flatten the dough and let it rest for 7-8 hours till it's completely dry
5. Grind the dough to make it powder
.
Voila the Natura Homemadel Holi color is ready
.
Now I can play Holi without any stress of any skin allergies or anything else .
.
Let me know how are you planning to make this Holi safe for your babies P.S the colours can also be maide with maida instead of rice flour . They are not very sticky and hence easy to rub off
.
HAPPY HOLI GUYS !!
