How do you politely tell people not to hold the baby? We had a family function last week and everybody wants to hold the baby and play with her. While she doesn't cry at that moment at night she cries continuously and finds it difficult to sleep. We still have relatives at home and they all want to play with her. How do I tell them not to hold her without sounding too rude?

Just excuse and say she needs to be fed or changed and take the baby away in a min

This is obvious. Lucky that you've got people around you who love you and the Lil One. Ensure the baby's comfort before sleep.; Loose clothes, a nice bath, no clutter and proper nigh time ambience for good sleep. Since it's hot babies do get cranky.

Difficult Divya, we had baptism last month and I took a carry cot thinking she will be in that and people won't take her but no, she went to everyone happily, next day I was getting so many photos of her with relatives and friends. But on celebration night I gave her nice hot bath and she slept well.
