As a mother, it seems difficult to pour out the emotions and all the unlimited efforts put by me to maintain the bonding between me and my child.
It was easy for me to maintain that bonding because of some very easy practices.
Very early in life, I understood the best ways were to:
1. Develop trust and Respect
To nurture my child, I trusted her all moves and words.
I respected her emotions. Whatever gesture/sounds were shown/produced by my child, I tried to take it into my heart and felt it, then it became easy for me to understand my child.
My child felt a sense of security when I trusted her.
2. To develop trust-space enough time
Whenever my child required my presence I tried my level best to spare my time.
It is important to spend maximum time with our children.
Here, the child develops a sense of belongingness and being loved.
3. Notice the change
I tried to understand why my child was restless/crying, the reasons behind her smile and laughter and all that gave my child a positive and secure environment.
As a mother, I was attentive and equally responsive, whenever my child demanded my presence.
And this way I saw how my child was around me while sharing each and every bit of her life.
I can see her growing confidently.
These things have helped me so much that now, I am my daughter's best friend!
