How I met my husband 🌱

Ours is a purely arranged marriage, so it all happened like this.. I went to attend one of my friend’s wedding, where my husband’s aunt saw me & took my mom’s phone number. It was all weird for me, I didn’t realise why she wanted the number. Before I reached home, my mom-in-law already had a word with my mom over the phone, to my surprise they were coming to see me! 🤯 I was like whattt?

After a few days my mom-in-law visited us, everything went smooth. They liked us, we liked them. But the question that arised was when will I see him? Islam allows us to see each other once before getting married. And so, a day was decided wherein I was told that he will come down to our house and so it happened.

He came to our house, it was 7 PM I still remember the time. I was wearing a blue dress and he was wearing a white shirt, a formal attire. He was sitting on the sofa with a smile on his face. I was made to sit next to him, still we didn’t see each other properly 😜Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!😅 Then, then.. others came in already and started teasing us. When everyone else got busy with their jokes, we saw each other.. those few seconds of staring each other is truly unforgettable🥰

This is how I met him, we got engaged and got married after two months🌿

I cannot forget that day and when I pen this down after 5 years of marriage I still get butterflies. Yes, butterflies!🦋
