If the baby is started with cows milk then you can start with dropping feeds gradually. Please don’t take suggestions like keeping something sour, spicy thing to your nipple to stop the baby from feeding. I was given the suggestion I tried once and I saw my daughter emotionally distressed.

How old is your child? As I said drop feed gradually and wean off the baby. Start with day time. Drop one feed at at time. Try diversion during day time and then you night wean the baby. I can understand the health issues. Sorry to hear that.
