As per revauthi in her latest ama- A- You must breast feed your baby exclusively for six months, baby is expected to breastfeed 10 to 12 times a day exclusively. For around fifteen to twenty minutes every two to three hours. Burp your baby after every feed well.

A week old baby has to be fed on demand.Their intake is not much now so it will be quite often.

Since your baby is just 1 week old, it will be feed on demand. As an when the baby wants you have to feed him if you are giving <u>breas</u>t milk.. 1 week old baby can not drink too much at one time so you have to feed him on demand.
