I had same doubt. Once my friend's daughter had some teeth pblm nd went 2 babies ka dentist.; He told at least once babies gum should b cleaned with cloth.; I tried 2 clean her gums but she was not allowing so I gave up.;

My baby's doctor said not to clean her tongue because it is very soft..and it is not very important for the babies..but if you want to clean the tongue you can follow Neha's advice given above

There are baby tongue cleaners but you can use those once she is a little older .. roughly around 4-5 months

Take a price of very soft moist cloth and wrap it around ur finger. Cradle baby with one arm and use other hand to clean. Gently open the mouth and start very gently on the tongue in circular motions, you can do it on side walls of cheeks and gums too. That’s all ur done .
