How to deal with Constipation??
Our poop speaks a lot about our health and digestive system. Absence of poop all constipation and really stress mums out!
So your I am with a list of foods which you should avoid and few food which you must include if your baby is constipated. These vegetarian options are tried and tested home remedies.

When a baby is pooping regularly, it usually means their digestive system is working properly and they're getting enough to eat. So it's understandable that the absence of poop—or noticeable changes in consistency of poop—can stress parents out. But relieving baby constipation is sometimes as simple as changing up their diet.


Reasons -

Switching to cow's milk from formula/breast milk too early
Less water consumption
Less physical activities
Low food intake

Foods to avoid during constipation:
Avoid

Bananas

Rice

White Bread
Avoid foods that contain white flour(Maida), white sugar and processed foods.
Carrots
Potatoes
High Salted Foods
Fried foods
Dairy products in excess like cheese, butter, yoghurt (though yoghurt contains good bacteria that facilitate digestion, but it also has a binding effect on food substances and sometimes may cause constipation
Raw banana
Ragi - yes it does cause constripation to some babies

Remedies

1. Exercise

The parent or caregiver can gently move the baby’s legs while they are lying on their back to mimic the motion of riding a bicycle. Doing this may help the bowels function and relieve constipation.
2. Hing paste - Take a pinch of asafoetida/Hing & mix it with water to make a paste consistency. Apply on the baby's belly button and give a gentle massage to get relief from constipation. Wipe it off once it dries with warm water.
3. Ajwain or carom seeds - Boil Ajwain in water, strain it with a cloth and give the water to baby to relieve constipation.
4. Lemon water is a simple home remedy that you can try for treating constipation.

Flax seeds, Chia seeds, fennel seeds
Cereals, Pulses and Whole Grains

Oats, Barley, Dalia, Jowar, Buckwheat, Amaranth, Kidney Beans
