Best option is to avoid depression in pregnancy is to spend time in your hobbies or with friends...whenever you feel down have a bite of some sweet or icecream ☺it works really...listening to music is also very good....watch light movies ..read about pregnancy n parenthood .....just chill n enjoy this golden moments......read about the development of baby weekly...I'm sure you will forget about the depression..be happy☺

ya, agree with @5fcc57acb0bd2f004606c655 ...if you feel you are going down into this helpless state, you should seek help... it does not mean you have a problem, just think of approaching a psychologist as approaching a trustable person whom you can open to without any inhibitions... but do know this, you are not alone... you are in this wonderful community of moms, just like you, who have been through this state and more, just like you... we are all here to help you, through this stage, to enjoy a wonderful motherhood... there is a tiny heartbeat within you, think of him/her, and that wonderful baby will be with you in a couple of months.... take care dear, don't be afraid to reach out...

As advised by Sheena Kalia, Psychotherapist. Dear Mom-to-be,
Depression during Pregnancy or Antepartum is a mood disorder characterised by persistent sadness, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, anxiety, change in sleep patterns or eating habits lasting for more than 2weeks.
It needs to be treated as untreated depression can lead to premature birth, low birth weight and developmental concerns in the baby.
Depending on the severity,Psychotherapy such as Cognitive behaviour therapy or medication may be required. Exercise is an important factor as it helps boost serotonin levels. Check your diet intake as food has a major role in mood management. Get adequate rest. If you feel you are struggling with Depression and unable to cope, it is critical to seek help from your doctor or a mental health professional or talk to someone and share your concerns. Taking care of yourself is essential especially during this phase so that you are better equipped once the baby arrives.
Seek help and stay healthy.

if you feel you are alone and feel dipressed then that starts overpowering you so try to be happy best is listen to baby ryhms sing along so that you will also learn and baby will communicate better ( bonding improves) read religious books like Ramayan Keisha Katha etc. coming out of dipression is in your hands and you have to come out of it for the betterment of urself and your baby.
