There are so many child safe toys; n puzzles available in market. Shop for blocks, puzzles, knitic sand, pretend play toys, colouring n scribbling books, baby tents fun play, <u>etc</u>

Coloring, art, reading, blocks, pretend play, clay dough, Frozen toys, cardboard crafts, treasure hunt, hide n seek etc. are some of ways. Don't expect child to entertain himself on his own.. you wil hav to get involved with him.

These are great ideas and yes free play and discovering things at this age is best..kids get bored of toys but keep a variety like building blocks.. Small puzzles..learning alphabet and number; games that are age appropriate..even with phone you can show moral stories, diy activities etc...;
