Raisins ( kishmish ) around half a bowl should be taken daily. This was suggested to one of my friend whose c section was sheduled after 15 days but hemoglobene was very low. For 15 days <u>s</u>he ate half a cup kishmish daily. It really worked for her.

Sources are already mentioned by revauthi. What you can do is in evening; snack- include Jaggery and groundnuts daily. Take citrus food which are rich in vit c, which helps in better iron absortion. So what you can do is squeeze lemon juice to food, wherever possible. Iron absortion in non veg food is much better then veg <u>food</u>
