Kids learn through imitation and observation. Do the things/actions in front of your child what you want him to learn. Make it fun and entertaining. Also drill and practice helps a lot. Keep repeating the things you want him to learn on a continuous basis till your child masters it. Go slow and don't force him if he doesn't show interest. Books, blocks, interactive toys etc can be your aids to make things more interesting for him.

Just play give them some board books, toys, blocks let it strengthen their fine motor skills. Listening to nursery rhymes, speaking will enhance his speech and listening skills too.

i never taught my dd. just play with her. Do activities which will help her understand concepts. eg. if u want her to talk....start talking with her, sing rhymes, jingles, read stories, erc.. More than teaching make it a fun experience
