Here, am responding real late. But hope this might help you, if you have still same trouble. For my son, I used to offer him chilled water teether or cold carrot slices before feed. Plan B was to rub his sore gums with clean and cold cloth wipe before feed. Also explaining him before every feed that it hurts me if he bite. Again I kept changing feeding positions from football style or cross-legged version to allow the; wound heal if feeding from same side. Hope things get better soon.

A child will experiment and when they get teeth they try using them in different ways. Normally a child will not bite from where he is being fed and mother's can easily continue breast feeding even upto two years with the baby having a full mouth of teeth. When baby hurts you move the baby away and firmly say no biting. Don't be dramatic as that can be exciting for the child. If baby persists keep the child down and close your clothes. Do not continue feeding on that feed even if the child raises a fuss. Your child will learn over a few days that this is not to be done.

If baby bites then stop and tell baby no biting and show the teeth. And start again. If you feel you and baby are ready to wean off breastfeed then slowly reduce. Try reducing the day feed first because it is easier.
