just saw that you are 35 weeks pregnant .. i don't know how an internal scan is done at this stage ..

it is called as vaginal transducer or probe .. They come in a lot of sizes and nowadays doctors usually have the very thin ones .. they are covered with a condom and lubricant .. if you are worried ask your radiologist/gynec to apply more rublicant and it will slide in easily .. Transvaginal scan is usually done in the early months of pregnancy because the baby is really small to detect in abdominal scan .. Tvs generally gives better insights .. Don't worry .. just relax yourself as much as you can and it's a cakewalk ..
