I am 21 weeks pregnant. I have become extreme lactose intolerant and hence no intake of milk or it's products. Of late I am facing pain on my calf muscles and on both my feet. Is it normal or I gotta do something about it. Please help folks.

Hi shefa!
For my husband's lactose intolerance we boil about a cup of milk in ginger pieces on very low flame such that the milk absorbs the ginger completely. This is a home remedy and he is able to digest milk this way.
I would suggest if you can try once having milk this way.
But nonetheless just speak to your doc and seek advise on the same. Leg cramps and pain are common and it may get severe as you progress.so dont worry about that. Tkcr
Have protein and calcium rich diet.

Hi
If not lactose, u can choose soya milk. As u progress in pregnancy leg cramps are common. Keep your legs elevated.. Talk to your doctor to take supplements
