i am 33 weeks + 4 days today, and having regular contractions, had an appointment today with my provider, she said my cervix has started dilating and reduced to 1 cm, asked me to take rest for 10 days and then i can deliver anytime. it scared the hell out of me, what causes preterm labour? And i have read 37 to 38 weeks is usually full term..how come i can deliver by 36 weeks..i just hope for all things to be fine for my baby..
how does contractions feel like?i dont understand.i have movements sometimes pain in private part.is tat considered as contraction?

Dr. Dhanya, that's a big relief knowing you also delivered at 36 weeks, i just pray for the baby to come out as healthy as possible.
