i am 37 weeks pregnant. 2 days back i went to doctor to ask for normal delivery. then she told me "your baby is nearer to 3 kgs if you wait for pains then your baby's weight may increase then u may not be eligible for free delivery. so you come on 7th july , then your baby will be on 38th week, everything is fine in your womb, so i will give you an injection for pains and we will plan for normal delivery if not we can plan c section".is it fine to do like this??

i would sincerely suggest you to get a second opinion.. because 3kgs and up to 3.5 is not a big deal.. hope your doctor is treating you correctly.. actually one can wait till 40 weeks for contraction if everything is normal like afi level, pelvic circumference and shape etc which can be well examined practically.. so if u are in doubt get a second opinion
