I am 39 weeks pregnant and have mitral regurgitation. As per cardiologist anasthesia is safe for use. My gynaecologist says they wil opt for normal delivery with epidural as epidural is pain free. Is epidural and normal delivery safe in ladies having mitral regurgitation? Kindly advise.
