i am 7 weeks pregnant. from past 6 weeks i have been taking vitamin D satchet once a week. Now can i continue taking this every week? will it cause any harm ? i dont want my vitamin D levels to go down, as i am also on suncreen .

There is a level of Vitamin D which is normal. Anything above can be toxic. It is best to take as per the dose prescribed. This seems to have been prescribed to you prior to your knowing that you were pregnant and the doctor at that time must have given you the number of weeks to take it based on your reports. Please follow the advice. Once levels are normal then the calcium pill has a small dose of vitamin D and this will be enough to maintain the level during pregnancy
