Hi first there are lot of misinterpretation about Breast Milk " Leakage of Breast milk is called Let Down and not more supply". Our breast will produce milk according to our baby's needs, our body will produce milk only when the baby latches and sucks, body will understand baby is sucking this much hence I will produce this much. In the beginning the baby does not know how much to drink and ends up drinking more ( This is when curdled milk spit ups or milk spit ups happens, as they take extra feed) and they also do lot of comfort suckling hence the let down happens. Slowly and gradually baby will learn to suck to its hunger and our body will also understand our needs and produce milk accordingly so the let down will stop. 2. By pressing the breast or by pumping we can't weigh our milk supply. Baby's suckling power can't match the above 2 , So don't worry or decide your milk supply is reduced because this is the first step to formula feeding , many mothers think the supply is reduced hence formula. 3. About breast tenderness is also same , not necessarily the breast will be hard. If your baby is passing 6 plus pee count and sleeping at a stretch for 1 hour atleast then everything is fine, keep latching your baby to your breast often, include jeera, saunf, ajwain, daliya, oats, eggs, dry fruits ,nuts, milk and milk products in your diet regularly.
