I am in my early pregnancy stage which is currently 4 week pregnant ..shall I start taking any multivitamin or get any scan done..one of my friends suggested to go for endovaginal scan and also told that we should take some susten 200 mg tab for progesterone and folvite..I just wanted to avoid unnecessary scan and visit to labs considering covid situation . Hence,I asked here.kindly help and provide advice on scan and medication

Pregnant ladies are not given multivitamin. Your friend is right about folic acid but susten has to be decided only by your doctor. And scan should be done at around 6 weeks to confirm if its in the uterine cavity

Hi you are supposed to visit good gynecologist and proceed further. Nothing is unnecessary in scan, and it doesn't harm the baby in anyway, all the scans are for your own good and the baby's. Each pregnancy is different so pls dont take your friend's suggestion . Consult a gynecologist soon pls.
