I am really in an upset state of mind. My mother in law pressurises me to do things as per her with my child. Like if I want to give Sponge bath to my baby first then she will say feed him first he is crying and that too as an order. But I being a mom, I would want him to be fresh first and then let the baby feed well. She always compares my baby with other kids and says that baby is so gappu and he isn't; whereas doctor says he is fine and he is active. Whenever I take lil longer for bath and he gets hungry she says in a very bad tone that bechara he is so hungry where did you go. I think raising a kid should be fun and I as a mom know what to do. I don't understand and i get very frustrated that will.i not understand my babies emotion better and why is she ordering me most of the time when she is around. I really feel bad that I am.working hlhars as a mother and Still all or this and I cry and shout at my husband. How should I handle.this.

Hi meeta... People who do not make you happy are worth ignoring. My MIL had a long list of do's and don't s when I was with her.. I never argued with her but I never followed her advice.. I did what was right for my baby.
Also don't fight with your husband...he is her son and trust me there are some sons who do not utter a word even if they know their mother is wrong. You will only end up spoiling your relationship with him.
So 2 takeways ignore your MIL and love your husband! God bless you
