I am vegetarian and breast feeding my baby. what ever I eat like Dal, chick peas, palak, etc produces gas to the baby. Please suggest foods rich in protein and does not produce gas. Please help me. To avoid gas I am not eating anything healthy just carbohydrates and I am worried about the health of my baby

It's a myth that your food causes discomfort to the baby, you can ask any Paediatrician around the world. You pass only nutrients to the baby, you both have separate digestive system. Please have everything homemade in moderation. Babies do get gas pain but thats because while breastfeeding or bottle feeding they inhale air through mouth and it forms air bubble inside hence the pain n not because of what we eat. Make paste out of hing and coconut oil apply on baby's tummy and gently massage whenever baby has colic pain.
