question
I breastfeed and also give formula to my 3 months old as my breast milk is not enough for her. But after completion of her 2nd month she has started hating formula milk. I have to feed her formula when she is asleep and it takes an hour to feed her. How will I make her drink formula?

Anon I understand you are tired and it's your choice to give formula but if the baby is not willing to take then you can't force. I have been breastfeeding for past 17 months and 4 hrs of sleeping straight is big thing for me, till 6 months i woke up every now and then to feed. But trust me it is all worth it, I'm proud that i nurtured my baby. Your milk is sufficient, getting up every 1 hour doesn't mean he is hungry. Baby gets up for comfort suckling also. Its a phase, hold on mumma.

@5fedec01cccb6d0014097596 i give her formula because my breast milk is not sufficient. She is hungry after every hour and even if i breastfeed she is not satisfied. She keeps on crying. I have to feed her every hour which takes a toll on me.

Hi why to force her with formula ? When she clearly showed she doesn't need that . If your milk is not enough she will obviously drink formula. She is satisfied with your milk she is getting enough milk. Nothing is better than breast milk, please trust your baby's choice and throw the formula.
