question
i came across a news where s renowned director has asked our authorities to ban children's reality shows becausr its not helping in anyways to built them rather its destroying there persona. channels for there trps are exploiting them, its like snatching there innocence, joy n putting them to fake glamour,.. childhood should be completely free of unnecessary dramas, unhealthy competition which can create complex in our children ,n destroy there positive mental growth. I truly agree on this n request all parents to save there children's from this trap.

I don't even watching singing shows. How can a kid sing a romantic song like a pro? I remember we will be spanked even by mistake we sing cinema songs from our parents.

I give my full support to the director .Talent shows are taking the innocence from kids, Why talent hunt is only for singing dancing and other entertainment based things? why cant we find their talent in sports, science and other good things? Not every kid is going to be an actor. I really wish no talent hunt shows for children under 18 yrs old.

I absolutely agree . reality TV is not about healthy competition, it is about trps and increasing trps through manipulation of emotions. Like all the other moms have pointed out, it is activities are no longer about kids learning or working in a team, they've become more between the parents and has lead parents into pushing their kids wayyyy beyond learning, fun and games. We as parents need to bring a change to our current system . Why can't we make learning fun with all the technology that we have these day s

some credit for this wrong trend goes to media ,where they say -' ....pillo..bacchon ko. ..and punch line 'tyaari jeet ki' , every time I see this , I feel when will child learn to fail, it's very important to fail not win all the time , otherwise person will never understand value of anything and will become race animal, @6372999217d2c800158d8bec

yes ladies i feel if see, as 80's child ,we too had competition, participation, n every thing in our times but less of all this trp and glamour game, my parents didnt scolded me even i was about to fail in sixth standard in maths ,and get a year back,i got promoted to next class thru supplementary exam,i ts all because my parents encouraged me n never let this enter my brain n make me complex about my failure, it's because of that only I did very good in academics after I chose my subject till college. let's make our children free of this gamics, unnecessary competition n promote the healthy upbringings
