I don't buy festive decorations from the market since a year or two, but make them all at home.

I had two Christmas parties at home fr both kids friends groups n moms.

I made the kids do a couple of theme based craft activities too.

The biggest compliment amongst all that I received - i was told to start 'art n craft classes'!!
