I doubt I myself can arrange and categorise the laundry in piles of shorts, skirts, tracks , skirts and so on as meticulously as my 6yo has. Involving kids in house chores entails a sense of responsibility, hard work and respect in children. So moms, what are the jobs your kids really enjoy doing?

That's really awesome, Manveen! <br>
Now that it is vacation time, my boys help me in the kitchen and the house. I may sound like a task master but there are a few jobs that they have to finish everyday like drying clothes, and folding them. Though the younger one monkeys around most of the time. The older one has to ensure the water bottles are never empty and he even kneads the dough for me sometimes. It is very important that they learn household tasks. The other day my maid didn't turn up and the older one volunteered to sweep and mop the floor. I did feel guilty accepting the offer but he was all smiles at the end of it and it almost made up for my guilt!

My daughter will be jumping to do our work than her playthings. Slowly teaching her to do her own things. Along with it... she will sit next to me, when I am cooking...like this I will be telling about vegetables, spices etc. Daily with help she prepared lemon juice. Put clothes for washing. And also inside washing machine. Put it on. Pick clothes from bucket and will hand it to me for drying. Wash her dolls with me. Remind me of my medicines. Locks the main door when ever anyone leaves. Switch off light n fan , when not is use. Little here..little there she will be doing.
