I had thyroid problem in first trimester and subsequently it was normal but doctor had advised to take thyronorm tablets till delivery . Do I need to do thyroid test to stop taking these tablets?

My doc said to take the medicines. Incase the levels are normal. Thn too... It helps to develop child's IQ.. Yu will hav to keep on monitoring the same.. <br>
Ideally in Pregancy TSH has to be in the range of 2 incase if it increases doc will change yur medicines.. <br>
. I was advised to gt the dose increased.. Due to TSH levels high.. <br>
Don't worry there is no harm in it trust yur doc n follow the instructions..

hi spoorthy - u need to be tested regularly as per ur doctor's advise and then she will chk report and advise u accordingly. u cant stop medication without test or without consulting ur doctor.
