question
I have 18 months old. He doesn't like to play with any toys. He always wants to climb on TV stand, dining chairs, some or other things which causes him harm. He always needs one person running behind. I have to do cooking and other chores. My husband helps me until his work starts(currently wfh) even during work also he helps when I am in need. I feel tired after running behind him and I know he can't understand few things what we say not to do. I lose my sanity and yell at him most times and sometime beat him when it's out of control which I feel very bad later. Please help me what I can do to engage him so that he can play without much closer monitoring.

Hi Anon babies this age do all this and it's very much normal, finish all your work when your husband is taking care of the baby, do bulk cooking and save it in the freezer. Rest when the baby is resting, you can introduce books now.
