8-9 motions in a day is common with small babies...but if it is very watery or having mucus in it...den i wud say consult ur doc... dont treat it with any medication on ur own... and it is very common so dont worry.

for infants 11 poop a day is normal and loose motions are common with infants. don't <u>worry</u>

Loose motion are normal and common in babies. and that as it's summer...some climatic influence also will be there. If it's too much and too watery...please consult your doctor. Don't give anything on your own. As baby is too small, you can not take chances. Keep feeding baby and burp baby properly after every feed. Give baby some tummy time. Consult your Paediatrician.
